The children are attending swimming lessons at Mevagh Dive Centre.

The Senior Class children travelled to Ballyare for 5 a-side soccer tournament. The children played very well and scored lots of goals. We were very proud of each one of them. Maith sibh, a pháistí!
The children enjoyed lots of fun book activities on World Book Day. We had a scavenger hunt, presented our favourite books and created a collaborative art piece on the day.
The children were very excited about having a coach from Cranford AC in our school to do Athletics training with them. These lessons took place weekly for 6 weeks. Thank you so much to Jerry and Dympna for the great lessons. The children really enjoyed them.

We had the pleasure of welcoming the Minister for Education & Skills Joe McHugh TD to our Christmas Service in Leatbeg Church. It was a privilege to have him in attendance to see how wonderful our small school community are. The children read the story of Christmas and sang hymns. Thank you to Rev David Griscome and the Church of Ireland community for hosting our Christmas
Pinocchio at the Grianán Theatre – the whole school travelled to the Grianán Theatre in Letterkenny to see the production of Pinocchio, performed by local Donegal young people. It was a refreshing change from our usual visit to the panto and we thoroughly enjoyed the performance. We also enjoyed stopping at the shop on the way home to get a goodie or two !!
The children performed Christmas Has Got Talent for a huge crowd of parents, grandparents and neighbours. The children’s performance was superb – great acting, singing and dancing. The children also played some Christmas music on their fiddles, piano and tin whistles, as well as singing Christmas carols. We were very proud of each of you. Well done – each one of you a star!
