The junior and senior class celebrated STEAM Week remotely this year! Múinteoir Róisín put a really fun timetable of activities together. On Friday the 11th of December, the staff and pupils of Ballyheerin National school wore their Christmas jumpers. We are proud to gave all donations collected to the children’s hospital in Crumlin. We are thinking of all the children in hospital and their families at this very special time of year.
We are delighted to be using the class dojo platform to communicate with parents and to acknowledge the great work that our pupils and teachers are doing in our school. We are delighted with our new shelter which was assembled last week. The children have enjoyed playing under it and staying dry during the wet November days! We have also enjoyed seeing the most beautiful rainbows this week!

The senior class enjoyed a lovely walk around Ballyheerin today. We had a look at the two older national schools that were in Ballyheerin before the establishment of our present school in 1913.
