Our Visit to Teach MĂcĂ Ban đĄ
Our school had a wonderful visit to Teach MĂcĂ Ban today. We are so grateful to Hugo and Margaret who showed how people lived, how they worked and what they used in years gone by. Things have definitely changed alot. We particularly loved having our lunch beside a lovely turf fire!
Lessons in Deutsch
Children from 2nd to 6th class have been learning German this term. This module of work perfectly complements the aims and objectives of the National Language Curriculum. The children have are having alot of fun with the new language. They have learnt many new words and phrases and have enjoyed playing lots of language games. GairdĂn na Scoile
Both the junior and the senior class have been very busy helping MĂșinteoir RoisĂn to create a school garden in our front yard! The children set potatoes with MĂșinteoir RĂłisĂn which have grown so much already. The senior class also did a fantastic job of painting the raised beds. Last week, the children helped MĂșinteoir RoisĂn to plant a variety of herbs and vegetables.
