🍁Autumn Learning 🍁

The senior class have been learning about the local, natural fauna of our local environment. We have learned to identify and name various trees and bushes that are growing near our school by examining the shapes and colours of berries, flowers and leaves.

We also took part in the annual clean up, organised by the Fanad Coastal group. The senior class walked along the road towards the bridge and used pickers to pick up any rubbish they could find along the way. The junior class helped Múinteoir Gráinne and Múinteoir Róisín to pick up rubbish along the road past the church.

It is important that we do our best to ensure that our roads remain rubbish free so that we can continue to enjoy lots of lovely nature walks throughout the year!
