We have had a busy year in Ballyheerin NS. Here are some of the activities from the year:
Halloween Show of songs & poems, Aladdin at the Millenium Forum, Christmas Service in Leatbeg Church, Christmas Play Hosanna Rock , Friendship Day, World Book Day, Swimming Lessons in Meevagh Dive Centre, Junior Achievement Project, Trip to Glenveagh Castle, Trip to Ards Forest Park , Sports Day in Trialough, Nature walk around Ballyheerin, End of year Service in Ballyheerin chapel with Fr. Pat McGarvey.

Our 6th Class children Sinéad, Ellie, Andrew & Aaron are now ready to move on to Secondary school. We will miss them but we wish them all the best in the future.

I would like to thank Múinteoir Gráinne Corry , Múinteoir Brenda Lee McDaid, Múinteoir Máire Mc Clafferty, Múinteoir Lorna Gibbons, Múinteoir Treasa Coll, Fidelma Heraghty and Damien O’ Doherty for all their work during the year. It is appreciated by everyone.

On a personal note, I’d like to thank the whole school community for their continued support – the children, the parents, the staff, the Board of Management and the local community. With all your support, Ballyheerin NS is a safe and active learning environment.

Books 2016/17 Junior Class €50
Senior Class €55

School will re-open for all children on Thursday 1st September 2016. Junior Infants will finish each day at 12pm from 1st Sept – 9th Sept. Múinteoir Gráinne Corry will be the Junior class teacher. Múinteoir Aoife will be the Senior Class teacher.
